Andy Murray is a British former professional tennis player and coach. He won three major singles titles, two Olympic singles gold medals, the 2016 ATP Finals and helped Great Britain win the Davis Cup.
Murray became ATP world No. 1 in November 2016 after a season that included Wimbledon, Olympic and Tour Finals titles. Hip injuries later limited his career, and he retired from professional tennis after the 2024 Paris Olympics.
