Robert J. Shiller is an American economist, author and Sterling Professor of Economics at Yale University.
He is known for work on behavioral finance, asset prices, bubbles, the cyclically adjusted price-to-earnings ratio and the Case-Shiller home price index.
In 2013 he shared the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with Eugene Fama and Lars Peter Hansen.
